Profile Removal

If your profile appears in the BeSocial directory and you wish to have it removed, you have the right to request removal at any time. We will process removal requests within 30 days.

To request removal, use the form at the bottom of this page or email removal@besocial.com with “Profile Removal Request” in the subject line. Please include the URL of your profile and confirmation that you are the person named in the profile.

DMCA Takedown Process

If you believe that content on BeSocial infringes your copyright (including profile images, bio text, or other materials), you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Our designated DMCA agent is the BeSocial Legal Team.

A valid DMCA takedown notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (or that of your authorized representative)
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  3. The specific URL(s) on BeSocial where the allegedly infringing material appears
  4. Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email)
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on their behalf

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that content was removed from BeSocial due to a mistaken or wrongful DMCA takedown, you may submit a counter-notification. A valid counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its original location on BeSocial
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number
  5. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your judicial district (or Ontario, Canada, if outside the US), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

Reporting Inaccurate Data

If you notice incorrect information in a profile — such as wrong follower counts, outdated contact details, incorrect category tags, or any other factual errors — please use the form below and select “Incorrect or outdated information” as your reason. We aim to process data correction requests within 14 business days.
