My Story
I've always had a hard time going to bars or parties to meet people. I never liked the idea of someone hitting on me or finding me attractive after they've been drinking or whatever. For that reason, I tend to come across as 'socially awkward' or shy.
I've tried dating sites before, with little to no luck. Most of the 'dating sites' should be relabled as 'hookup' sites. I'm not here for casual dating or casual sex.
Ideal Match
Intelligent, funny, sweet, honest, loyal and easy-going.
That just about sums it up.
As far as intelligence goes, I'm not looking for a 'think-tank', but I would love for him to have an intellectual conversation with me, showing me he has more than a 10 word vocabulary.
Funny- There are lots of things I find funny or humorous, my friends have often described me as 'quirky'. Be easy-going, able to laugh at the little things in life and at yourself.
I'd love to have a guy who is honest and loyal with me. The last guy I 'dated' was a mooch and wanted to use me for the little bit of money I scrape together every paycheck. He never paid me back, and I found out later, was seeing multiple girls behind my back.
So, as you can imagine, honesty is important with me.
