Singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoseli formed the American rock band known as Nirvana in Abredeen, Washington, 1987. Nirvana was part of the Seattle grunge scene in 1989, and since they began creating music together they sold over 75 million records worldwide.
